Dr. Shambhu Pokharel

Dr. Shambhu Pokharel is the Vice Chairman Asia Pacific and the Executive Chairman of World Trade Group Nepal. He is also the Global CEO of CEO CLUB GLOBAL.

Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of several global companies, including Startup Hub Global, Changonomics, and Franchise Global. He is also the Chairman of Business TV Nepal and owns an IT company named Blackhole IT Solutions, which provides services in over 30 countries.

Dr. Pokharel is a member of the International Board of Advisors for IBM.TV-USA. World Trade Group Nepal, under his leadership, is the Regional Partner (Nepal) for the Startup World Cup. Dr. Pokharel has previously worked as the Executive Director of Nepal’s first Shipping Line, Nepal Shipping Lines. He has been an international speaker in more than 13 countries and was awarded the “MOST AMBITIOUS CEO” Award by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and CEO Club Network Worldwide in 2019.

With over 19 years of experience in media entrepreneurship and startups, Dr. Pokharel has deep knowledge of binational and multinational economic aspects. He is also the Chairman of the CENTER FOR DIPLOMATIC DIALOGUE (CeDiD) and the President of the Asian-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) – Nepal Chapter.
